The First Tee: Free Golf Lessons for Kids {and Parents} in Dallas Area

My son has been wanting to have golf game lessons.  However, he has already taken lessons for soccer, swimming, karate, hockey, and archery.   Some of those activities required a hefty expense in gear in social club to participate.

Golf seems no dissimilar.  How many clubs do we have to purchase so he tin endeavor out the sport of golf to run into if he likes information technology?

The reply is None.

Yay!  I similar that answer.

We found a golf clinic where my son was able larn the nuts of golf and amend his chipping, putting, and total swing skills and the dispensary provided all of the equipment he needed to try it out.

But you know the best part?It was costless! Totally free!  The clinic, equipment utilise, green fourth dimension….all free!

The First Tee

The Kickoff Tee of Greater Dallas offers a wonderful programme for junior golfers. Nosotros started out with their free Parent-Child golf game clinics for children ages vii-18.  The clinic concluding about 1 1/two hours.  All equipment is provided so you don't have to throw down a bunch of money buying golf clubs when you don't even know if your child will want to go along.  My son loved the game and actually improved some during this one clinic so we are looking into signing him upwards for one of their other programs in the fall so he can continue to work on improving his skills.  I'm grateful that we were able to try out the sport earlier committing to a lot of equipment that might soon become to the sports equipment graveyard (aka – the garage).

However, information technology is of import to note that The First Tee program isn't simply most golf.  The First Tee is a full youth evolution plan that also focuses on values and character evolution.   The nine cadre values that the program focuses on include Honesty, Integrity, Sportsmanship, Respect, Confidence, Responsibility, Perseverance, Courtesy, and Judgment.
